The Hague Connected!

The seven largest employers in The Hague are jointly committed to better and more sustainable accessibility of the city. The CEO’s of Aegon, ANWB, NN Group, PostNL, Siemens, Odido and Shell signed the start statement of The Hague Connected! in 2021. With which the organizations commit themselves to this goal for four years. This unique statement is an initiative of the Economic Board The Hague, which will facilitate the process in the coming years. “A step forward for The Hague is a step forward for BV Nederland,” said Marjan van Loon, President-Director of Shell Netherlands and member of the Economic Board The Hague.

The strong position on the (inter)national playing field of The Hague must be maintained and where necessary strengthened. In order to provide a future-proof living environment for residents and a business climate for employers and employees, the following points are paramount:

  • International accessibility;
  • Regional and inner-city connections;
  • Smart and sustainable (city) logistics and mobility.
