Strategic advice

The Economic Board The Hague provides both solicited and unsolicited advice on the city’s economic policy. In doing so, the Board adopts a role guided by the question: how can we help? Broad prosperity is central to our work, and our advice may cut across programmes and policy areas.

We select our own themes, while also actively inviting stakeholders across the city to bring forward topics for consideration. The potential to make a meaningful impact for The Hague’s entrepreneurs and residents plays a key role in determining which issues we ultimately pursue.

We are an independent think tank, with the interests of the city always at the forefront. The Municipality of The Hague is an explicit and valued partner in this collaboration.
