On Friday, March 11, 2022, the Economic Board The Hague is organizing the inspiration and networking event: The Hague Inspired in World Forum The Hague. The event for enterprising The Hague.
With the organization of this event, the Economic Board The Hague creates a moment to gain inspiration, to look to the future together and to give a boost to the city of The Hague. Harry Wientjens, chairman of Economic Board The Hague: ‘The strength of the event lies in the energy of all parties involved. The role of the Economic Board as ambassador for the city creates special connections between the various parties. In doing so, we are not only focusing on the economy, but on the broad prosperity of The Hague.’
Program
The program consists of various inspiring ‘seven-minute talks’ in which ideas and visions for the future on various current themes in The Hague are outlined. These have been carefully chosen in collaboration with participating aldermen from the municipality of The Hague. Think of subjects such as SMEs, Culture, The Hague South West, Innovation in healthcare, Energy and Sport. Mayor Jan van Zanen: ‘The Hague Inspired program is very diverse and varied. This means that the program interfaces with all the entrepreneurs in The Hague.”
Presentation of The Hague Pearls
The Hague Pearl is a municipal award within the policy field of Economy. The award ceremony is a special and festive moment during The Hague Inspired. The Hague Pearls are awarded to companies in The Hague that celebrate an anniversary or make a unique contribution to the Hague Economy. ‘As alderman for the Economy, I am really looking forward to this event. Enterprising The Hague can finally meet and inspire each other again. From SMEs to large international companies. Together they make an important contribution to the identity, economy and attractiveness of our city.
After the program, the ‘seven minutes talks’ can be discussed during the networking drink, offered by MKB The Hague, VNO-NCW region The Hague and Royal Horeca The Hague.
